| Personal History | Samuel was born to Lamar and Kendra Hunt in Savannah, GA; Earth. At a young age, Sam knew that he wanted to join the military and serve as a MACO. After excelling in High School, Samuel was accepted into West Point Military Academy. During his four years there, he maintained his studies majoring in Combat Strategy. Hunt also participated on the Wrestling team all four years and achieved multiple awards. Upon graduation the new 2nd Liutenant was assigned to the SS Venture. During this assignment the crew found themselves dealing with piracy affecting civilian transports in the further regions from United Earth. Three years later, Hunt received a promotion to 1st Lieutenant and reassigned to the Jupitar Station. While on this assignment, Samuel found himself to Special Operations Unit that was called out to several assignments outside the system. During the year 2153, a good portion of his extended family was killed in Florida when the Xindi attacked the Federation. Samuel had actually volunteered to be a part of Enterprise and their mission to find the Xindi, but wasn't chosen for the assignment. It was this loss that made him realize just how vulnerable United Earth was. In 2154, Hunt was promoted to Captain and transferred over to the NX York. On this assignment, it was quiet for the most part but often would find themselves assisting security. Especially regarding the Orion Syndicate which they encountered on several occasions. After the Romulans attacked United Earth by destroying their Starbase, Captain Hunt found himself reassigned to the Unicorn to be placed directly in the frontlines of the war. |
