Carina VII is a neutral world situated near the front lines of the Earth-Romulan War. An idyllic world it’s popular with many species as a place to holiday or settle down to start a new life. Since the start of the war, strange things have been happening in the colony’s capital, Vesper’s End. People have started aging rapidly, structures that should last decades crumble overnight, and newly-planted crops mature and rot in twenty-four hours. Disturbingly, locals claim to have encountered Romulans on the planet. The Unicorn is dispatched to investigate.
